Emulating Charterhouse Ghana’s Continuing Success Story

Yesterday I [Yaw Sarpon] together with my brother Usher of Flash Mob Ghana joined Charterhouse Ghana for the 10 years celebration of four of their employees.

It was really nice to meet some of the people I look up to including George Quaye and housemate of Big Brother Africa Stargame edition, Maria Nepembe who’s set to launch her new TV show GlamTV on GH One TV latee today.

The four who were being celebrated for clocking a decade at the entertainment powerhouse included but not limited to Jojo and Daniel Quarshigah.

They all narrated the chronological events of Charterhouse. In their speech, the company had a humble beginning; with staff making use of one open space at Kokomlemle as the operations office. And to an extent the washroom was one for all gender.

My simple arithmetic skill tells me the company was organising the Ghana Music Awards even at such a humble stage.

I was simply astonished at the many revelations and suddenly the quote

Rome was not built in a day

came in mind. The same applied to my good friend Usher.

For me, the continuing success story of this company is a case study and worth emulating by all most especially young entrepreneurs and university graduates.

Currently, the entertainment outfit which is part of the Multiple Concept Group has a TV station GH One TV and employs about 60 human resources.
