Tracy Morgan out of rehab, sues Wal-Mart over fatal accident

American comedian, Tracy Morgan has finally been sent home from a rehabilitation facility following a crash into a Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) truck on Saturday, June 7.

Shortly after his release, he told the New York Daily News that “I’m OK. I feel strong.”

Notwithstanding that, he has filed a lawsuit against the the retail giant. The lawsuit accuses the company of negligence and reckless conduct for assigning Kevin Roper, the driver of the truck to a Wal-Mart store in Delaware instead of one that is closer to his Georgia home. As a result, it is believed that the driver fell asleep on the job.

The 30 Rock star was in a limousine with his assistant Jeffrey Millea, comedian Ardley Fuqua Jr., as well as entertainer James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, 62, who was killed in the accident leaving the former 3 with various degrees of injury.
