The Kumasi City Mall finally opened for business on Thursday, April 20, amidst a powerfully evocative ceremony and excitement from shoppers alike.
The $95 million project which covers 15.4 acres of land has 74 different shops, providing goods and/or services in groceries, electronics, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle and more.
The Kumasi City Mall is owned by Delico Property Limited, owners of the Achimota Retail Centre in Accra. More so, Broll Ghana Limited and AttAfrica Assert Managers are the property managers and assert managers respectively.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Kofi Sekyere, Chairman of the mall mentioned that the opening of the mall in the ‘Garden City’ will offer a wonderful shopping experience to people of diverse economic background in the city while underlining the employment opportunities it will offer.
The grand opening comes after the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, cut the sod to begin the construction of the mall on Saturday, June 7, 2014.
