Simon, who revealed that his father had been on admission at the hospital for some time noted that “when you speak with him, he could only respond by nodding his head. We went to there this morning to help him bath and make sure the nurses will come and take care of him. They told us to go and buy some medicines. I realised that something strange was going to happen because he became heavy when we were trying to raise him. He was breathing slowly and the voice was gone.”

“While he was breathing in and out slowly, we just prayed to God but what would happened would happen,” he sorrowfully added.

He enjoyed a very blissful career in acting, especially between the 1970s to the 1990’s. He was also popular for his roles in local Ghanaian series, Akan Drama which aired on GTV.

He was part of the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group. Super O.D gained nationwide popularity for his impeccable acting and rib cracking jokes.
