The murky relationship between two (2) of Ghana’s superb reggae/dancehall acts Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy could be embracing a new phase of warmth as the latter’s Ashaiman event draws near.
The SM Empire boss who has engaged in lyrical wars with the BHIM Nation front-line artiste for some time now, has stated that he will be at the concert set to take place in Ashaiman on Saturday, September 30.
The ‘Forgetti’ hitmaker who revealed that he is engaged on September 25, however mentioned that he will make it to the concert on the scheduled date.
This comes after a request from Abeiku Santana, host of Okay 101.7 FM‘s drive-time show ‘Ekwanso Dwoodwoo’ in an exclusive interview on Friday, September 15, 2017.
“On the 30th I will come. I want us to prove to Ghanaians that if they don’t see me and Stonebwoy in the studio recording or anywhere, it doesn’t mean anything,” he said.
“He understands me very much. So on the 30th, all the Shatta Movement crew [will be there],” he added.
Currently, reggae/dancehall music continues to take centre stage in Ghana’s music industry — making great strides across the continent — hence, support from each other will only make the industry a better place.
