Ebony is Dead
Reports reaching GlammyNews.com reveals that Ebony, another young Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician is dead.
The ‘Maame Hwe’ crooner was involved in a gory accident at Mankronso on the Sunyani-Kumasi road in the Ahafo Ano South district of the Ashanti region.
The death of the Sunyani-Abesim native was confirmed by COP Ken Yeboah, Ashanti Regional Police Commander on Abusua 96.5 FM in Kumasi.
The young reggae/dancehall act real name Priscilla Owusu-Kwarteng was returning to Accra from a family trip to Sunyani. She was heading to Accra as part of her preparations to the United States tonight.
The former RUffTown Records act was on board a black Jeep car with registration number AS 497-16 when it got involved in a head-on collision with a VIP bus.
Also on board were a soldier and a young lady.
Ebony, aged 20, was noted for songs like ‘Poison’, ‘Hustle’, and many other hits.
