Ace Ghanaian broadcaster Tommy Annan Forson has added his voice to the rant of a group of young women in Ghana who have taken a more radical approach to advocacy for women’s right on the ground of equality of the sexes.
The group has in recent times advocated for equal rights on many platforms, and as a result has gained popularity among many in the society.
In a reaction to their movement’s comments on radio, the senior media mogul has stated that its members may be suffering from mental disorder.
The incensed broadcaster also noted that issues of defilement, rape, etc. are the pertinent issues that ought to be addressed by these ladies.
Read his comment in a facebook post below:
Hmmm when some women sit on radio and tell the whole world that when you cook for your husband it is slavery, they must be suffering from some kind of mental disorder. Keep buying fried rice and chicken or bofloat and coco for him wai. Ebufu sem.
How the hell did they get onto that platform anyway?
Managerial responsibility at that station needs to be looked at.
A programme like that can destroy homes and marriages instead keeping homes together.
This rubbish must stop and that programme taken off the air, children are being defiled, girls being raped, are those issues not more important to talk about?
This comment comes few days after accomplished Ghanaian politician and business person Joyce Aryee slammed them.
