DJ Pho nominated for Ghana Event Awards 2018

Award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Pho, real name Kwaku Afriyie Asante Boateng has earned another nomination and it is none other than the Ghana Event Awards 2018.

He was nominated in the Best Event DJ category of the award scheme that celebrates brands and/or personalities behind events in the country.

The gifted event cum radio DJ faces competition from DJ Andy Dosty, DJ Black, DJ Crakk, DJ Lord, and DJ Mensah. Others are  DJ Nii Ayi Tagoe, DJ Vyrusky, and DJ Mic Smith.

The fine music selection by 2014 Ghana DJ Awards ‘Best Mobile DJ’ to suit each occasion has earned him respectable role as the DJ of many major events in the country.

In the past year, he has played as the official disc jockey at the RTP Awards, Golden Movie Awards, and Ghana DJ Awards. Others are the Zenith Bank Grand Ball, OmniBank End of Year Party, General Electrics End of Year Party, among others.

The host of the ‘Spicy Mix Show’ and ‘Listeners Choice’ on Adabraka-based Rainbow Radio has over the years carved an enviable niche for himself as one of the finests in the disc jockeying industry.

DJ Pho has since expressed his delight following this nomination while entreating fans and all good music lovers to rally behind him.
